Five kids buried under sand heap

In a tragic incident five kids including four girls were buried alive under sand heap in Bhavnagar district on Sunday. The kids around 10 years of age were playing when the mound fell on them and they were buried.

According to police the incident took place in Agatariya village near Mahuva. The kids who were returning home after collecting wood came across a cave type sand heap. They started playing and suddenly the heap fell on them and they were buried inside. The villagers came to know about the incident three hours later when the parents of the kids who did not return went searching them.
When they reached near the sand they found slippers of the kids who had removed them before playing. The anxious parents immediately dug up the area only to find bodies of the kids. The dead include Sobhana Makwana (8), Mahipar Makawana(10), Mamata Makwana(10),Neha Makwana(10) and Sonal Bhil(10).
