Gujarat Global News Network, New Delhi

Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi said that keeping in mind the common people there will be no steep hike in railway fare.

He said that there will be increase of only 2 paise per km on second class fares. For AC three tier the increase would be 10 paise, 15 paise for 2AC and 30 paise for first AC. He said that the rise has been made after 8 years. For travel of more than 300 km the hike would be Rs.12
