Common man missing from Union budget: Modi
Gujarat Global News Network, Ahmedabad
Chief Minister Narendra Modi has described the Union budget as anti people and directionless. It will surely take the nation from bad to worse days.
Common man is just missing from the budget, he said.
The budget reflects the Congress led UPA government’s political instability as well as its inability to fight burning issues like corruption, inflation and unemployment. He said that additional burden of Rs.80,000 crore including railway budget would adversely affect general public.
Describing the hike of two percent on excise duty and service tax as cruel, Modi said that it would affect labour intensive employment avenues like tourism. The budget does show any direction for planned development.
