Six IPS officers transferred in Gujarat

Continuing with its reshuffle of the police administration before the elections, the Gujarat government today transferred six IPS officers.

Sharad Singhal has been transferred as the new Gandhinagar SP. He replaces Archana Shivhare, who goes to Surat as a DCP. Parikshita Rathod, DCP (Zone V) in Ahmedabad, has been shifted to Gandhinagar as SP in the state’s Intelligence Bureau (IB).

DCP Traffic (Ahmedabad) Siddharth Khatri will take up the post of DCP (Zone V) in Ahmedabad. RPF commandant D H Parmar would take place of Khatri while M L Ninama, commandant in SRPF, will take over as DCP (Zone II) in Ahmedabad.
