Gujarat ATS gets Jundal’s custody

Abu Jundal, a LeT terrorist was handed over to the Gujarat police on Saturday after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) completed his interrogation.

Jundal a key accused in 26/11 was in the custody of NIA.

He was interrogated for his alleged involvement in conspiracy by LeT to carry out terror strikes in the country. Jundal is wanted by the state police for his alleged role in Karnavati train blast in 2006. NIA told the CBI court that interrogation was complete and he was not required for further questioning. Gujarat ATS told the court that it wanted to custody of Jundal. An application in this regard was moved in July this year.
