Keshubhai’s visits to RSS and VHP offices creates flutter

Former Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel’s visit to RSS and VHP office this morning took all by surprise and has created buzz in political circle.
BJP leaders tried to underplay the visit but have launched damage control exercise . Though Patel described the meeting as routine one to see Pracharak Damleji who is unwell but sources say that Patel had closed door meeting with the latter for about 30 minutes.
The visit put RSS on defensive which hurriedly called a press conference and clarified that Patel was there just to see senior RSS leader Damleji who had been admitted to hospital twice.
Damleji openly supports Keshubhai and also attends his meeting. Sources say that Keshubhai asked for his support in the coming elections. Later Keshubhai went to VHP office and met leaders there. He also addressed a gathering there claiming that it VHP office was his home. He said that he was there when the foundation stone of this office was laid. Patel recalled his long association with the Parishad.
He lashed out at Modi government for destroying temples in Gandhinagar and other cities in the name of development. According to him politics was like a Kho-Kho game where one passes the prospect to other. “But in this chase game Modi has now put a full stop and has not passed prospect to anyone”, Patel said.
