Three former IPS including one Additional Director General of Police today formally joined BJP. Officers with long experience in different districts were showcased before media at a conference at BJP headquarters here as indication of transparent and public focused administration of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
The officers who joined today are former ADGP K D Patadia, former DIGs B K Shrimali and B D Vaghela. They all claimed that they were so impressed by the efficient and transparent administration under Chief Minister Narendra Modi that they decided to join BJP to serve him and the society for the development of Gujarat.
Patadia who belongs to Chuda of Saurashtra has served in many districts and was also with Police Academy Karai. He said that he had trained thousands of police force in the Academy. His trainees are posted in the entire Gujarat. Obviously what he said hinted his great pull in the police force.
Similarly, Shrimali and Vaghela both have worked in different districts during their long tenure. In fact, Vaghela took VRS to join BJP.
