Eight police personnel killed in accident

Eight police personnel, including six females were killed on the spot when a police van accidently fell into a well near Sapoi village in Zalod today afternoon.
According to fire brigade officials here, the police van was returning to Dahod after reporting to duty at chief minister Narendra Modi's election rally in Zalod. Reports say that the driver of the van, a police personnel, had a sudden heart-attack and he lost control over the vehicle and it fell into a well.
Eight police personnel travelling in the van were killed due to drowning. The fire brigade personnel, along with fire tenders, were rushed from Zalod as well Dahod to rescue the police personnel. The bodies were taken to a government hospital here.
