It is pro-incumbency wave :Modi

Confident of his win Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said that it was “pro-incumbency” wave in the state and people had come out in large numbers to vote for the government which was for development.
Modi who came to BJP headquarters after casting his poll said that political pundits will have to add a new term to their dictionary. He said that people of the state had voted to make democracy stronger.
Earlier in his blog Modi thanked voters for historic turnout. He said that Gujarat had changed the belief that elections could be won by vote bank politics. It has not only shown to the world that elections can be won on the issue of development but also has created a scenario where no election can move away from the development agenda.
He also congratulated Central and State Election Commission staff for peaceful conduct of elections.
