LeT threatens to blow Ahmedabad airport

Gujarat police has been put on alert after serial bomb blast threat by Laskhar-e-Toiba.

A unnamed letter claiming to be from LeT said that several spots in the city would be targeted.

Airport Director received a letter on Thursday which said that the international airport would be blown off. The director immediately contacted police and the security was beefed up. The letter said that LeT was planning to strike at five places- Himalaya mall, Bakeri city, Venus park land and some other places. The attack was planned to revenge for electing Chief Minister Narendra Modi for the fourth time.

Police has beefed up security in the city. It is also investigating about the letter and from where it was posted.
