Modi invited to European Parliament

European countries seem to have ended boycott of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

A month before luncheon meeting with European Union representatives has opened up doors for Modi to have cordial relations with them. On Saturday Modi interacted with top lawmakers from various countires like Belgium, Germany, Britain and Russia.

Participating in the 10th corporate culture and spirituality India Conference organized by Sri Sri Ravishanker at Banglore Modi discussed about environment conservation and Gujarat’s initiative in using solar energy. The CM interacted through Skype and also told the audience about proposed Rama trail from Gujarat to Sri Lanka and a similar Buddha trail from Sri Lanka to Gujarat.

The lawmakers invited Modi to attend the European Parliament to be held in Brussels in November this year. The Parliament will be attended by representatives of 27 nations. The CM was also invited to attend European business meet in Brussels later this year.

Those present in the interaction were Joe Leinen German politician and member of European Parliament, Nirj Deva member of European Parliament and politician of Britain’s Conservative Party, Ms. Anne Marie Lizin (the honorary President of Belgian Senate), Vladislav Yurchik, leader of Communist of Russia and Deputy of Russian Parliamnet, “Duma”, Valery Sargienko Member of Siberia’s legislative Assembly and leader of Communist Party.

Sri Sri Ravishanker also joined the interaction.
