After the writ the amount was increased.

While welcoming High Court verdict in favour of fixed wage staff appointed by Gujarat government, Leader of Opposition Shaktisinh Gohil today said that Chief Minister was squandering public money for his publicity through Sadbhavna fasts and vibrant summits for the benefit of few industrialists. On the other side, he said, government was exploiting youth through fixed salary jobs.

In a media release, Gohil said that Congress welcomed High Court verdict for salary and other benefits to fixed wage staff. He said that the issue of injustice to fixed salary staff was raised by Congress in the House. Congress had raised its voice against injustice to these persons while asserting that there should be same work same salary to all.

However, the government did not take note of the Congress demand. These employees have ultimately got justice from the High Court. Congress stand has been vindicated by the High Court.

Gohil demanded that the government should immediately pay all dues and should not go to Supreme Court against High Court verdict.
