AMIT GAJJAR WINS “RASHTRIYA UDYOG RATNA AWARD”

National Education & Human Resource Development Organization has awarded city based interior designer Amit Gajjar with the “RASTRIYA UDYOG RATNA AWARD” for excellence in the field of Interior Design. Gajjar was presented the award during the seminar on “National Economic Growth through Individual Contribution” held at Mumbai on June 20th 2012.
Gajjar been affiliated with National Institute of Design as Senior Designer for many years and has executed more than 50 projects for N.I.D. In the past he was the winner an award for Good Lighting designing project of N.I.D. inaugurated by Hon. Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam.
He was awarded by the Geographical Indications Registry for “Workmanship & Design” by government of India. Apart from this, he won the Jury Award of Best Stall at “Nirman’97”, trade fair of The Gujarat Institute of Civil Engineers & Architects (GICEA). He has been President of Furniture Design Association, Ahmedabad for five years.
AGDC Group, founded by Amit Gajjar, also received an award for the excellence in the field of Interior Design. The Executive Member of Quality Brand Times Advisory Board of “Quality Brands 2012-14” selected AGDC Group for this prestigious recognition. The award was also given on June 20th 2012 at Mumbai.
Gajjar has done various projects like Design Vision Center, NID, Ahmedabad, Knowledge Management Center, NID, Ahmedabad, Sales Outlets (Petrol Pumps), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL), Kargil Project, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. eClinical Works Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad etc
