Online checking of vehicles on check posts

The Gujarat government has introduced a new “Instant Form Management” (INFORM) system for speedy checking of vehicles at check posts.
Accordingly, traders can download form numbers 402 and 403 and fill them up online to avoid delay at the check posts.
State Finance Minister Saurabh Patel said that the new system will come in effect from February 15. Printed forms will not be accepted from March 15, he said. The online system will help the traders during holidays also. The forms will be bar-coded so that the traders do not face accounting problems later.
