Admission process for professional courses begins

The process for admission into professional courses in the state began from Monday. 22,500 students purchased the admission booklets and PIN from the designated branches of Punjab National Bank on the first day.
With the sale of Admission booklet and PIN, the students have also started the process for online registration procedure for engineering and pharmacy courses in colleges affiliated to Gujarat Technological University. 4,838 students logged into the admission website on the first day. 1,700 students initiated the registration procedure but only 68 could complete the registration.Â
The admission booklet and PIN will be available at the Bank branches till June 4. Once students purchase a PIN from the bank, they will have to log on to www.gujacpc.nic.in and a form with basic details will appear on the screen. They have to submit the form online after filling up the details. Â
They also have to submit a hard copy of the form with the necessary documents at the nearest help centre. Registration process is considered complete only after a student submits a hardcopy with the required documents at the help centre.
