B.Com admission forms available from June 18

The Gujarat University (GU) has announced that the admission forms from B.Com courses will be available at colleges June 18 and 20. The admission process will begin from June 20. The GU has mandated that cost of forms is not more than Rs 20.
The State Education Board had declared the result of HSC general stream on Thursday. Â there are 60 commerce and arts colleges in Ahmedabad with 25,000 seats. In rural areas, there are 50 colleges with 8,000 seats.Â
Colleges will accept filled forms from June 21and the first merit list for general category students will be declared on June 26. The fee will be accepted on June 27 and 28 from the students figuring the open merit list.Â
The second merit list will be declared on June 29 while the third merit list will be declared on July 3. The merit list for candidates in the reserved category will be declared on July 5.
The new academic session will commence from July 12.
