CUG ties up with foreign universities for cancer research

The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) is soon going to sign an agreement with University of Pittsburg for cancer biology research. As per the agreement, there will be faculty and student exchange programs between CUG’s School Of Life Sciences and University of Pittsburg.
The Central university of Gujarat is one of the youngest Universities in the state. It has signed MoUs with universities of Colorado and Georgia for all like chemical sciences, life sciences, nano sciences, international studies and social sciences.Â
The university has also come up with an innovative method to help students who have missed the dates for filling exam fees. From this year on, the students who wish to appear for the university’s entrance exams and have either missed dates for filing their application forms or have failed to deposit the examination fee can now do it at the examination center on the day of the entrance exam. “The students will just have to bring their passport-sized photographs at the examination hall and they can sit for the entrance exam straightaway after filing up a form. The university will hold its entrance exams on June 2 and June 3.
