Diploma course admission to start from June 7

Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for diploma engineering colleges will start the process for admission in diploma courses after SSC from June 7.  The academic session will begin from August 8.
The SSC result will be declared on June 2 following which mark sheets will be delivered to the students on June 7.The ACPCÂ will begin distribution of forms for admission in diploma courses from June 7 to 16.
Students will be able to submit the forms, register themselves and submit document proof beginning June 8. This process will continue till June 16. Following this, the authorities will declare the final matrix. The provisional merit list will be declared on June 22. Choice filling for mock rounds will take place from June 25 to July 2. The final seat matrix of all the colleges will be declared on July 11.Â
The final merit list of admissions allotted will be out on July 26. Officials said that 1.10 lakh students have appeared for the SSC board exam and there are 45,000 seats in diploma colleges, which will be filled after the result is announced. There are a total of 92 polytechnic colleges in Gujarat.Â
