M.Pharm, ME admissions to begin Friday

The admission process for M.Pharm and ME courses will begin from Friday. Forms, duly filled in by the students, will be accepted from June 23.
The entrance test will be conducted on July 7 and 8. The result will be declared on July 18. On July 20, the counseling session for admission will begin
This year additional 1,140 seats of ME and 1,600 seats of M.Pharm have been granted. Last year, there were 2,609 seats. After the increase this year, there are 3,749 seats available to the students. Similarly, there were 2,900 M.Pharm seats in the state last year. After the increase this year, the seats have increased to 4,500.
Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) officials have disclosed that there are 11 colleges in the state that have not received approval for admission this year.
“If these colleges do not get the mandatory approval by the time the admissions begin, we will not allow admissions in these colleges”, officials said.
Officials said that the academic session will begin from July 30.
