Three new engineering colleges get AICTE approval

There is good news for engineering aspirants in the state. The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has given approval to three more colleges in Gujarat.

SAL College of Engineering in Ahmedabad; Pacific College of Engineering in Surat; and Swaminarayan College of Engineering and Technology in Kalol have been granted approval by the AICTE. As a result there is an increase of 900 engineering seats in the state.

As per the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), with the increase of these 900 seats, the total number of seats in engineering courses in the state’s colleges is now to 58,337.
