The Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad has made it to the Financial Times’ list of the top 10 B-School in the world. The institute is the only Indian B-school in the list.Â
The list –Master of Management–2012 has University of St Gallen from Switzerland ranked first for its Master in Arts Strategy and International Management followed by ESPC Europe at second position and CEMS for its Master in International Management programme at third position.
IIMA was ranked 10th on the basis of its flagship course- Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP).IIMA’s ranking in the list this year has slipped three places from the 7th rank in 2011. The report ranks the top 70 programmes in general management that do not require students to have prior work experience for admission to the masters programme.
The institutes are ranked considering a variety of parameters like salary in US dollars, value for money rank, career rank, aims achieved and placement success rate.
