Gujarat Global News Network, New Delhi
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Sanjay Joshi has written a letter to home minister P Chidambaram claiming a threat to his life. Joshi has claimed that he was receiving threat calls and letters from unknown persons.
In his letter to the home minister, Joshi has listed three mobile numbers that he says he received death threats from on the 3rd and 4th of June. Joshi has mentioned one Rasool Khan; whose whereabouts are unknown, as the person behind the threatening letter.
Joshi has been in the news recently for his rivalry with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and how he was forced to resign from the BJP national executive due to pressure from Modi. Later posters in support of Joshi had appeared at BJP offices in Ahmedabad, New Delhi and MP.
He asked the HM to provide adequate security to him in light of the recent threats which he has received.
