IAS reshuffle : Eight collectors transferred

In a reshuffle the state government on Saturday transferred 21 IAS officers. 8 of them have been promoted. Ahead of polls collectors of eight districts have been transferred.

 

Anand Collector Avantika Singh Aulakh has been transferred as Collector Bharuch in place of Roopwant Singh who will now serve as Collector Valsad. Sandeep Singh, Collector Jamnagar will replace Avantika Singh. N B Upadhaya DDO Rajkot will replace Sandeep Singh.    

Kutch Bhuj Collector M Thennarasan has been appointed as deputy municipal commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Surat Collector A J Shah has been transferred and appointed in place of Thennarsan. While Jai Prakash Shivhare Collector Sabarkantha- Himmatnagar will now be Collector Surat.

L C Patel, Collector Valsad will replace Shivhare. G A Shah, Porbander Collector has been transferred as MD Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. J M Sevak, joint secretary to government youth, sports, cultural programme will now be Porbander collector.

Other transferred officers include joint secretaries and DDOs.
