Ex-BJP MLA joins Congress

Former BJP MLA Jeetendra Patel on Wednesday joined Congress.
He with four others joined Congress saying that they were against Modi’s ideological stand.
Patel who won from Sabarmati constituency in 2002 alleged that Modi had autocratic style of functioning. He praised UPA policies and said that Congress was dedicated for the welfare of people.
Besides Patel, Ramesh Patel (Doodhwala), Bharat Patel, Kamlesh Babulal Shah and Amrutlal Patel joined Congress party. State party President Arjun Modhawadhia and other leaders welcomed the move and said the entry of these persons will make Congress strong specially in western parts of the city. Â
