Keshubhai Patel to contest from Visavadar

Former Chief Minister and President of newly formed Gujarat Parivartan Party Keshubhai Patel will contest from Visavadar in Saurashtra. He announced this at a meeting in Rajkot. About his son, he said, it is left for him to decide whether to contest or not.

Regarding the list of candidates, he said that the Parliamentary Board of the party will meet from November 11 to November 15 to decide on the candidates. Party has decided to contest all 182 seats in Gujarat in December elections.
Party has applied for the symbol and it is expected to get in this week. Party has yet to decide on the constituency of its dynamic leader Gordhan Zadafiya. Keshubhai said that the criteria of selection of a candidate are candidate’s urge to serve people and commitment to public cause.
He claimed that the party was getting very good response and it has got 15 lakh members registered in the last three months. Earlier, talking to media in Ahmedabad, Keshubhai had claimed that his party will get majority.
