Senior Congress leader and Information & Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari today described the development of Gujarat under 11 year rule of Chief Minister Narendra Modi as development of few. He described the development model of Modi as crony capitalism.

 

Interacting with media here, he said that this was evident from the poor performance of Gujarat in vital fields like health and education. Otherwise Gujarat would not have been quite low in the Human Development Index in the country.

Referring to blistering attack of Narendra Modi making corruption a plank, he said that in 17 cases alone, Gujarat has massive fraud of Rs one lakh crore. Narendra Modi must be aware of this, he said. He said that the development ofg Gujarat was limited to few wealthy friends of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
