Congress had only communal riots festival: Modi

Launching a scathing attack on opposition Congress Chief Minister Narendra Modi said that there used to be only one festival that of communal riots in Gujarat during Congress rule.
While our festival is of development only, he said.
Addressing a gathering at his Sadbhavna fast in Bavla in Ahmedabad district, Modi said that there was a basic and wide difference between ideologies of previous Congress governments and the present government in the state. “Congressmen worship chair while we adore public. It is vote bank politics for Congress while ours is development politics”, he said.
The CM announced new development works worth Rs.18,000 crore for Ahmedabad district. Earlier he had announced development works worth Rs.2,000 crore for Ahmedabad city.
