Modi should stop taking shelter in the name of Gujarat: Shaktisinh Gohil
Gujarat Global News Network, Ahmedabad
Leader of opposition in the State Assembly Shaktisinh Gohil has said that the Chief Minister should stop defaming Gujarat to cover his own misdeeds. He said that even though the CM has been proven guilty in corruption and other cases, by the Supreme Court and High Court, whenever the opposition party or some public organization criticize him, he claims that anti Gujarat elements were trying to defame the state.
He thanked the judiciary for doing the state of Gujarat a lot of good by reprimanding the CM. Mr Gohil further added that the state is not defamed if the CM who has destroyed the prestige of the state is reprimanded by the Court of Law.
He said that it is for the first time in the 50 year history of the state that its CM has not been granted visa for travel to a country. Not only that, ban on his entry in Bihar by his counterpart, who is his party’s alliance partner has damaged the prestige of the state. The CAG has criticized, in never used words before in the history of the state, the Rs.26,7000 crore corruption of the CM.
He added that the prestige of the state is destroyed due to fact that the CM did not allow appointment of Lokayukuta for last eight years to hide his corruption. The state has lost its prestige due to the dirty vote bank politics of the CM who burnt Ram Bhakts and disciples of Raheem.
Gohil launched scathing attack on the CM who he said describes such people as anti Gujarat who point out his faults. It is sad that one of the Home Minister of the State has been arrested and externed, while there are talks among people that CM himself is behind the killing of one of the former Home Minister.
Hinting at the statement from former CM Keshubhai Patel, Gohil said that at a time when except himself the entire state is unsafe, there is no democracy but only autocracy, gaucher land is given to few industrialists, fixed wage workers are not given full pay despite High Court’s order, state’s debt has reached Rs.1,37,000 crore, crores of funds from the state exchequer are being spent on Sadbhavna with a ill will, farmers are not getting electricity and Narmada water, everyone from widow to unemployed youth in the state are having trouble it is not befitting for the CM to use the people of the state as shield to hide his misdeeds.
