GMC sets up Awards for Journalistic Excellence

Gujarat Media Club has announced setting up Awards for Journalistic Excellence. In all there will be five Awards and will be given on March 23. The Awards are sponsored by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.

I&B Ministry creates Facebook Page-Community Radio India

Government to check quality of media training institutes

Government is keen to promote excellence in journalism. As part of this, it is going to set up a committee to review mushrooming media training institutes. By the year end Indian Institute of Mass Communication will be declared an institute of excellence, Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Ambika Soni said today.
