In a bid to establish a direct communication between the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and various stakeholders of Community Radio fraternity in the country, the ministry has launched a dedicated page on facebook- ‘Community Radio India’. Government is keen to promote excellence in journalism. As part of this, it is going to set up a committee to review mushrooming media training institutes. By the year end Indian Institute of Mass Communication will be declared an institute of excellence, Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Ambika Soni said today.
