Pune- Ahmedabad Duronto Express to start this month

Tri-weekly AC Duronto Express train between Pune and Ahmedabad will start by the end of this month.

Besides, three new weekly trains will also start running by March end, Minister of Railways Dinesh Trivedi announced today.

The other three trains include 19405/19406 Ahmedabad- Yeshwantpur AC Express(weekly), 19261/19262 Porbander-Kochuvelli Express (weekly) and 19407/19408 Varanasi-Ahmedabad (weekly). A daily train between Bhuj and Palanpur 59425/59426 will also start from March end.

19603/19604 Sultanpur-Ajmer Express will be extended upto Ahmedabad. While the frequency of 59025/59026 Surat-Amravati fast passenger will be increased from 2 to 3 days a week. All these new services are part of the Railway budget 2011-12. A total of 132 new trains were proposed in the budget. Of which 115 will start running by March end, the minister said.
