Visitors entry banned in the Ahmedabad Airport complex

Visitors will not be allowed in the airport complex from Tuesday evening. Owing to security threat on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26, the airport authority has banned entry of visitors and closed down ticket counters.
On an average daily more than 1,000 tickets are issued at domestic as well as international airport. According to sources the Central Intelligence team has warned about security threat and consequently only passengers will be allowed to enter.This ban would remain in force till January 30 and decision for allowing visitors will be taken after reviewing the situation, an official said.
