Now book train tickets 120 days advance

There is good news for railway passengers. They can book their tickets 120 days in advance instead of the present 90 days limit.
The scheme will come in effect from March 10 and will specially benefit summer travelers.
Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS) will make necessary changes in the software for the purpose. This facility would not be available for all trains. There will be no change in certain short distance trains, a railway official said.
There will also be no change in case of 360 days limit for foreign tourists.
