Cubit launches India’s first All in One PC

Gujarat based company Cubit has brought into market India’s first All in One bare bone PC. The company’s President Suresh Nair says that this will prove a game changer in the PC market. With this he sees 300 per cent increase in the market which is dominated by big brands.
He says that his brand has two advantages. First its price is less as compared to other AIOs available in the market. What is more, he says, Cubit offers customized configuration something which is not available in the desktop market.
He agrees that note books are in vogue. Still, there is potential market for AIOs in India, Nair says. The reason is simple. There is strong PC market and with customized AIO people will move towards this emerging market.
AIOs cost 35 to 40 percent higher than conventional desktops. This is also a deterrent. However, he says, Cubit has 25 per cent higher price which is quite acceptable for the value addition of the AIO. Entry level price is around Rs 21,000 while higher end cost of the Cubit AIO is around Rs 55,000. The price depends on what do you want in your AIO.
At present against sale of 77 lakh PC there is sale of only 1.5 lakh AIO. With properly priced AIO with customized configuration facility, Cubit expects sale of one lakh units out of expected sale of over four lakh AIO in 2012.
Vinay Chopra, Director Sales and Marketing says that the company has set a well worked out network to achieve its sales target of the year. Within first three months, company expects to sell around 20,000 units. Cubit is a laptop and computer peripherals manufacturing company.
