Central Bank launches special scheme for IAF

Central Bank of India today launched a special scheme CENT VAYUSHAKTI for promoting a defence salary package. The scheme offers end range of banking facilities to the serving and retired Air Force personnel across the country. Bank had earlier introduced similar scheme for the Navy.

Access to account from anywhere, unique lifelong account number, Zero balance account with Zero maintenance charges, free ATM cards with two additional cards – one each for spouse and dependent parent, free NEFT/RTGs facility with free internet/Tele banking and mobile banking facilities are some of the salient features of this Salary package specially designed for Indian Air Force.

On this occasion, Air Marshal JN Burma appreciated the efforts of the Bank in designing a Air Force personnel friendly scheme and expected that the serving as well as retired personnel will be benefited with this scheme. MV Tanksale, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank praised the commendable services of Air Warriors in defending the Indian borders.

The scheme was launched by Air Marshal JN Burma, Air Officer-in-Charge Administration at Vayu Bhavan. AVM (Retd) Ratan Bir Kalra, Defence Banking Advisor was present during the ceremony. Central Bank of India is the third largest public sector bank having network of nearly 4000 branches pan India.

Bank offers special rates for Housing loans of Air Force Group Housing at the time of retirement of Air Force Personnel. Ratnakar, General Manager Delhi Zone informed that bank has already launched similar package for Navy personnel.
