Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam inaugurated the year-long celebrations to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at Mahatma Mandir, in Gandhinagar. A large gathering of students from across the state was present to listen to the former President. Many ministers from the state cabinet along with Chief Minister Narendra Modi were aslo present at the function.
