Aapnu amdavad will have a womens’ garden now. The garden in the new Western zone behind Iscon mall will be spread over 25333 sq.m. area.

The garden will be thrown open for public on March 8 on Women Day.

On experimental basis only women and children below the age of 14 will be allowed during 12 noon to 6 pm. Governor Dr. Kamla had urged the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to develop the garden exclusively for women.

The Nova village garden has 1300 metre walking track and decorative lights. It has two fountains in the shape of fish and umbrella. Wooden concrete Chabutro adds to the attraction of the garden. It will have a nursery having wide varieties of plants, according to a senior AMC official.
