More trouble is brewing for BJP national general secretary and former Home Minister Amit Shah.
The man who is Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s most trusted lieutenant has been charged by JD(U) MLA of trying to kill him in fake encounter. Chhotu Vasava, MLA from Jhagdhia, a tribal dominated district has alleged that Shah had tried to eliminate him.
Vasava was accused in a murder case in 2004 in which he has been acquitted by the Court. According to him Shah had directed then DysP G S Malik to kill him in a fake encounter. “In my presence Singhal talked to Shah about the place at which encounter was to be carried out”, he claimed.
Vasava also filed a defamation suit of Rs. Five crore against Shah and five other cops for naming him in a murder case. He said that he had found out misappropriation of funds given by the Centre for tribal development and that is why the Modi government tried to fix him.
“I had to suffer immense mental torture due to this and therefore I have filed a defamation case”, he added.
