The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Services(AMTS) on Monday introduced nine new routes covering totally new areas.
Of these two are circular routes one from Vadaj and another from Naroda. Two routes are 28 kms long and cover major eastern part of the city.
AMTS chairman Babubhai Jhadaphia said that the new routes are in the area which have no city bus facility. The new routes are 130/4 Vadaj terminus to Nikol Vad, 147/2 Sunderam Awas Yojna (Vastral)to Wageshwari society, 160/1 MAninagar terminus to Shrinand bunglows,80/1 and 80/2 Vadaj terminus to Vadaj terminus,(circular and anti circular), 30/2 Sarkhej gam to Vatva railway crossing, 30/3 Dani Limda gam to Suryan hope town and 110 and 120 Naroda terminus (circular and anti circular).
The minimum fare on these routes is Rs. 3 and maximum is Rs.20.
