For the first time, the annual Global Healthcare Summit of the Association of American Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) will be held in Ahmedabad. This is the eighth edition of the GHS.
Announcing this AAPI president Dr. Jayesh Shah said that the three day event will be held in Ahmedabad from January 3 to January 5 with a mission to make a positive and meaningful impact on the healthcare in India.
About 2000 doctors including 500 from abroad will participate in the event which will have for the first time clinical practice workshops. He said that “This innovative summit is aimed at advancing the accessibility, affordability and the quality of world class healthcare to the people of India”.
Among other areas, the summit will focus on prevention, diagnosis, treatment options and share ways to improve healthcare transcending global boundaries.
