Around 1500 Ayurveda doctors and students from all over India will meet in Ahmedabad to promote the concept of Healthy living with Ayurveda. They will discuss established methods of treatment while sharing their views on emerging trends in this age old health science.
Giving details of the two day event starting on December 28, Vaidya Hitesh Jani, President of Ayurved Vyaspith, Gujarat under whose banner the event is being held, said that this is first ever such meeting being held in Gujarat. The event will also have a mega camp for free treatment of patients besides an exhibition of medicinal plants and food material.
The event “Ayush-Vivek Parishad 2013 will also honour 150 Ayurvedic doctors, students and others for their contribution in the field of Ayurveda. Its national seminar on first day will have three themes relating to the main subject “healthy living with Ayurveda”, preventive, curative and emerging trends.
Organising secretary of the event, Ahmedabad based Vaidya Rajesh Thakkar said that National workshop will have topics which include Recent advances in Agnikarma in rheumatologic disorders,Karna Vedhan technique for Asthma like respiratory problems, Garbha Sanskaar to improve quality of child in womb and Ayurvedic ophthalmological kriyakalp.
The programme will be held at Swaminarayan Gurukul, Charodi on the outskirts of Ahmedabad.
