Chief Minister and BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today lashed out at Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party accusing them of equal partners in crimes of the Congress.
Addressing his first rally in UP, Modi exhorted people to punish the trio which was in petty vote bank politics and did nothing for the development of the state. The gathering at “Vijay Shankhnad Rally” was impressive with people chanting pro-Modi slogans. He said that time had come to expose the backdoor understanding between the Congress, BSP and SP and to punish them. Atonement for this sin can only be done by throwing these parties out of the electoral map of UP, he added.
Law and order situation in UP was worst and more than 5,000 people have been murdered in the last one year of Akhilesh Yadav’s rule. “People are not safe here and mothers are worried whether sons will return alive from work or not”, he said.
Attacking regional parties he said that SP and BSP were supporting Congress at the centre to safeguard their personal interests and cover up their criminal and corrupt activities. He said that eight of the country’s Prime Ministers were from UP and now the state had been pushed to the political sidelines.
