BJP Prime Ministerial candidate and Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said that UPA government had a single point agenda against him in the last 12 years.
“It was trying to book me. CBI has failed to fix me and I do not know what they will do next”, he said.
Addressing a huge rally here he said that there was anti Congress wave in the country. He said that he was travelling to various places and was getting the feeling that it was difficult for Congress to come back to power. “time has come for voters to decide if the BJP should be given chance to form government at the centre”, he said.
"Those who make false promises have no right to stay in power. They had promised to control prices in 100 days - did prices come down? They went up," Modi said while addressing the rally. Those who went back on their promises must be taught a lesson," he added.
Whenever there was a Congress or Congress-supported government, the people had to face inflation. Shouldn't a government in a democracy be answerable to the people?" he asked. Modi said the Congress is so arrogant that it is not willing to answer the media.
"They keep making allegations, it has become fashionable," Modi said. "Manmohan Singh is the PM but they want answers from Modi. They are more bothered with what I did," he added. "I promise the people of India that when they vote for the BJP in 2014, we will present a summary of what we've done every year, not after 5 years," he said.
