In what has sent shock waves in the political circles here GPCC President Arjun Modhwadhia today said that he was disappointed with Congress government’s handling of the snoopgate of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
In a hurriedly called press conference Modhwadhia said that the party at the Centre should have taken action against Modi and his trusted lieutenant Amit Shah. He said that it was unfortunate that action was taken against three Union ministers only on the basis of allegations but in this case nothing has been done.
To a question about if he had made representation about it to the Centre, he said that he was disappointed. He did not elaborate further. He said that three persons were arrested in the case of phone tapping of Arun Jaitley but in Gujarat no action has been taken.
