Gujarat Global News Network, Ahmedabad Gujarat High Court has suspended Sessions Judge R H Sharma on the charges of corruption and irregularities. High Court vigilance committee will inquire into the charges against the judge whose suspension evoked very strong mixed reactions.In the sessions court many lawyers celebrated suspension of Sharma while there are many who believe that the judiciary has lost a very intelligent judge. Sharma who has felt very much hurt by the judge plans to challenge his suspension while he is clear that he would not be with the bench anymore. He was suspended on the Wednesday evening. The news spread like wild fire. On Thursday morning lawyers found written on the notice board, Congratulations to Gujarat for suspending R H Sharma. Later, the message was removed under orders from the office of the Registrar. Sharma is not able to digest the suspension. He points out that just five days back on September 18, he had received a letter from the High Court commending his service. He says that he has been receiving good work appraisal every year since 2003. Sharma joined judiciary in 1995. In the 14 years, he has been transferred 17 times! Earlier, he was public prosecutor and had fought many cases for the Gujarat unit of the Central Bureau of Investigations.
