Gujarat Global News Network, Ahmedabad Den Networks Ltd, a cable distribution company has issued IPO of 20 million equity shares. The price band is between Rs 195 per share and Rs 205 per share. The company plans to utilize the funds from IPO for its expansion plans. The IPO opened on October 28, 2009 and will end on October 30, 2009.The company has a pan India presence and has plans to expand in key markets like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, among others, said Anuj Gandhi, chief executive officer, DEN Networks Limited. The company expects to raise about Rs.400 crore from the issue, which would be spent on expansion of cable television and broadband infrastructure and services and also for acquisition of content and broadcast rights. The company has been promoted by Sameer Manchanda and has joint venture with Star. Last year, DEN Networks recorded a turnover of Rs 720 crore.
