Gujarat Forensic University to have student exchange programme

Gujarat Global News Network, Gandhinagar The Gujarat Forensic Science University (GFSU) has signed a memorandum of understanding with UK based Huddersfield University for collaboration in the filed of criminology and forensic science. There would be annual student exchange programme.
Director General of GFSU and Forensic Science Laboratory Dr. J M Vyas said that both the universities would prepare a common curriculum to facilitate exchange of students. Initially about 25 students would be exchanged. In addition faculty exchange would also be done from next year.
Both the universities would jointly work in the fields of criminal psychology and research on new avenues of forensic science also, Vyas added. The main focus would be behavioral science and human psychology. Seminars, conferences and meetings would be organized as part of the MoU.
The Huddersfield University is 125 year old institute having affiliation with 85 countries including US, China, Singapore and Malaysia. It has over 24,000 students. For news in Hindi see our Hindi daily Chaupal Chronicle
