Gujarat Global News Network, Ahmedabad Five labourers were killed as earth caved in at the construction site of an underbridge in the Ambawadi area of the city. One more was taken out and has been shifted to V S hospital in critical condition.According to Mayor Kanaji Thakore the incident occurred in the evening when suddenly earth caved in and labourers working there were buried. Fire brigade immediately rushed to the spot and started rescue operations. It took two hours to extricate the bodies, he said.
