Podar School in Ahmedabad from June next

Gujarat Global News Network, Ahmedabad Podar International School will open a school in Ahmedabad from June next year. the school will offer both CBSE and Cambridge courses. The school will initially have classes upto sixth which will be extended upto XII.The admissions in the schools will be on first come first basis. The school will not accept any donations, claimed Swati Popat, president of Podar Education and Sports Trust. She said that the trust believed that every child had a right for education. The school uses modern teaching methods which are different from the conventional ones. A child is allowed to use computers only after the age of four, she said. Podar plans to enter tier two cities of Gujarat in 2011. This year apart from Ahmedabad Podar would start schools in seven cities of the country.
