Gujarat Global News Network, Ahmedabad The state government will draft a separate policy for stainless steel manufacturers provided they were willing to foray in gymnasium equipments and toys manufacturing, Chief Minister Narendra Modi said. He said that manufacturers should concentrate on research and development in steel industries.Inaugurating a four day stainless steel fair Indinox-2010 here on Saturday the CM said that steel manufacturers should manufacture polished toys for children to be put up in public parks or aanganwadi centres. They should do so as part of their corporate social responsibility, he added. On the other hand health care industry was developing at a very fast pace. Youths are getting more health conscious and more gyms are opening up. The number of gyms could go upto 10,000 in one location in 2-3 years, Modi said. Steel manufacturers could set up gym and sports equipment manufacturing units. There are ample opportunities in this sector and the government is ready to give incentives also if required.
