Gujarat Global News Network, Ahmedabad Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has stressed the need for setting up a special team of best policemen from different states. He said that this team could help solve special crimes in the country.Inaugurating 53rd All India Police Duty Meet here on Tuesday Modi said that various states should share the experience of tackling crime with each other. “Gujarat is ready for it to make the state better”. Modi also stressed the need for participation of more women officers in events like the meet. He also suggested that teams should be categorized as per their age group. “The best of both— enthusiasm from young officers and experience from matured officers— can help in obtaining new parameters of policing, Modi said. DGP of state, SS Khandvawala said that the department has plans to recruit more staff and more actions will be taken for police welfare. He said that police lines would be improved. Gujarat police is hosting the All India Police duty Meet which will be a week long event. Policemen of police departments from different states and security agencies are participating in this event.
